Forum Post: Batch redundancy
Hi,
Our plan is to have a redundant pair of batch executives. For now, the plan is that the campaign manager would run on one of them. Most of our recipes will be started by a Pas-X MES sysytem.
In your opinion, is there usually a need to have two campaign managers for redundancy? If yes, how would you do it?
The other question is whether there is a way to ensure redundancy in the batch historian. The data coming from there could be critical as it needs to be forwarded to MES and our historian so we wold not like to have any downtime.

In contrast with FF instruments, Profibus devices do not have their own faceplates or alarms.
The alarms which you should get should come from all the control modules which have I/O assigned to the disconnected section. These shouldb be PVBAD / MODBAD alarms.
If you are not getting anything, check that the disconnected section is used in your control strategy and that these alarms in the control modules are enabled.

I checked and all the users on the proplus station are on the Apstation. I then put DeltaV Reporter on the APStation and tried it from there. And i basically got the same message.
I downloaded to the ap station and setup data to the pro plus.
